Active ingredient: magnesium phosphide 66%
Packing: Metal (aluminum) bottles each weighting 0.9 kg (300 round tablets each weighting 3 g).
: extermination of all pests of stored foodstuffs species and their larvae (granary weevers, rice weevils, flour beetles, flat bark beetles, sawtoothed grain beetles, rustic shoulder-knot moths, pea weevils, bean weevils, Indian mealmoths, Mediterranean flour moths, Angoumois grain moths, flour mites, as well as a number of quarantine insect species).
: magnesium phosphide 66%.
Mode of action
: the product starts to produce phosphine in 30 to 60 minutes after the first contact with the atmosphere. The process dynamics depends on air temperature and humidity. Phosphine is effective against all pests’ of stored foodstuffs developmental stages, as well as some rodents that penetrate from the outside. The gas has a high penetrating ability; it diffuses rapidly throughout nearly all packaging materials as well as through tightly packed goods.
: the product is ready to use.
: magtoxin unlike phostoxin may be used at temperatures below 5 degrees Celsius (41 °F) (within the temperature range 0 to 5 degrees Celsius (32 to 41 °F)), for all that the exposure time is 10 days. Outgassing of Magtoxin is faster than outgassing of products containing aluminium phosphide. At 60% relative humidity and 20 centigrade degrees nearly 75% of phosphine is outgassed within 24 hours. The maximum concentration of phosphine (phosphorus-hydrogen) is reached after only 24 to 36 hours. It has no effect on the taste and aroma of processed products.
